Iain completed his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York before joining Kimbells as a trainee in 2006. He qualified as a solictitor with the firm in 2008. Iain is able to advice on a wide variety of commercial disputes. Examples of work include:

• Acting in several shareholder disputes including complex disputes involving multiple group companies in different jurisdictions
• Regularly acting in breach of contract claims
• Advising regularly on personal and corporate insolvency matters
• Experience of arbitration proceedings
• Advising on franchisee disputes
• Experience of successfully using Alternative Dispute Resolution, including mediation.
